ST. LOUIS — St. Louis Cardinals pitching coach Dave Duncan is taking a leave of absence to attend to wife Jeanine as she recovers from surgery to remove a brain tumor.
The team said Thursday night that no time table has been determined for Duncan’s return.
General manager John Mozeliak and manager Mike Matheny will meet to determine how the team will fill Duncan’s position during his absence.
