Rule 5 pick Cesar Cabral, a strong candidate to be the Yankees’ second lefthander out of the bullpen to go with Boone Logan, had an MRI, CT scan and X-rays Saturday and was diagnosed with a stress fracture in the tip of his left elbow. Clay Rapada, who also has pitched well in spring training, could get the spot.

“It’s frustrating,” Girardi said of Cabral, who will be further evaluated by team physician Christopher Ahmad. “He’d had a really good camp for us.” \
