After Hurricane Sandy forced the rescheduling of the charity event for Mets staffer Shannon Forde, the event's organizers are asking ticket-holders to confirm their attendance on the new date, Nov. 29 at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, N.J.

Ticket-holders for the 7 p.m. benefit dinner can email confirmations to DuranteDebbie@Hotmail.com. Meanwhile, those who plan to attend the 7:30 p.m. meet and greet session with former Mets players can either email confirmations to Danielle.Heuer@Optimum.Net, or call (732) 241-1917.

Organizers are asking ticket-holders to confirm by Nov. 9. Proceeds from the event will go toward assisting Forde, who was diagnosed in August with Stage IV breast cancer.

Though the dinner has been pushed back, fans will have until Nov. 7 to bid in an online auction that will also benefit Forde. The auction -- which can be found at www.charitybuzz.com/auctions/shannon -- features various items including a hitting session with Mets third baseman David Wright and pitching lessons with R.A. Dickey and Johan Santana. Also up for bid are meet and greets with Boomer and Carton, Matt Lauer, Michael Strahan, Kelly Ripa and Jon Stewart.
