"Playing for Peanuts" is a TV reality show depicting the 2007 South Georgia Peanuts and their manager, Wally Backman. When you watch this - and you should watch it - you'll see how grateful Backman must feel just being back in organized baseball, even if he isn't managing a big-league club.

You can't keep your eyes off Backman, who will manage the Mets' Double-A affiliate in Binghamton, NY this year. This gig marked his return to baseball of any sort following his dismissal by the Diamondbacks in 2004. Backman is dynamic, he's funny and Good Lord, does he have a temper.

If you love Backman, watching this - it's a 3-DVD set - will probably convince you that he, rather than Terry Collins, should be managing the Mets right now. If you're not a Backman fan, you'd likely watch this show and say, "See! The guy can't control himself."

In any case, I'll give my set now to the first person who e-mails me - at kdavidoff@newsday.com - with the correct answer to this question:

UPDATE, 3:05 p.m.: We have a winner! Blog regular whynot knew that Felix Millan has the most Opening Day starts at second base for the Mets, with five. Here's the entire list of Mets Opening Day lineups
