Johnny Damon just keeps getting big hits.

Ben Zobrist led off the ninth with a tying home run and Damon ended the game with a two-out single, leading the host Tampa Bay Rays to a 4-3 victory over the Minnesota Twins yesterday.

Damon, who has the game-winning RBI in five straight games, has walk-off hits -- including a two-run homer in the 10th inning of Thursday night's 4-3 win over Minnesota -- in the last three games.

Indians 8, Orioles 3: Josh Tomlin (3-0) delivered another quality start, and Orlando Cabrera drove in four runs as host Cleveland won its sixth straight at home.

Angels 7, White Sox 2: Tyler Chatwood (1-1) pitched seven impressive innings for his first major-league win for visiting Los Angeles.

Royals 7, Mariners 0: Alex Gordon had three hits and two RBIs and Sean O'Sullivan outpitched Felix Hernandez for host Kansas City.

Reds 11, Pirates 2: Ramon Hernandez hit a grand slam, and Jonny Gomes homered twice for host Cincinnati.

Astros 5, Padres 3: Pinch hitter Joe Inglett had a tiebreaking single in the seventh for host Houston.

Giants 5, Diamondbacks 3: Freddy Sanchez's two-run single in the seventh put visiting San Francisco ahead for good. Giants starter Barry Zito sprained his right foot lunging for a bunt in the second inning and left the game.

Nationals prospect dies

The death of Washington Nationals 18-year-old prospect Yewri Guillen from bacterial meningitis in the Dominican Republic prompted the team to take precautions to protect other players at its Dominican training academy. Guillen died Thursday, after first showing symptoms of the disease Monday, according to Dr. Wiemi Douoguih, the Nationals' medical director.
