Finally, David Robertson has a timetable. The reliever, on the disabled list since May 14 with a strained left oblique, said Friday he is scheduled to pitch this weekend in a rehab game, likely Sunday in Rochester for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

After that, Joe Girardi said, it’s “realistic” that Robertson could rejoin the Yankees for their series in Washington next weekend against the Nationals.

“I haven’t felt it in a good week,” Robertson said of the oblique. “I feel really good. But I’m just trying to be careful with it.” Brett Gardner was scheduled to play Friday night for Class A Charleston and could join the team early next week in Atlanta.
