Derek Jeter opened the 2012 season on a ridiculous pace, as Erik Boland writes here. Going slightly deeper in Jeter's 3,120 career hits through the first 17 games of the season, here's a look at the top 10 teams Jeter has hits against:

2. Boston Red Sox 299
3. Toronto Blue Jays 293
4. Tampa Bay Rays 287
5. Los Angeles Angels 207
6. Texas Rangers 185
7. Oakland A's 182
8. Seattle Mariners 176
9. Detroit Tigers 173
10. Cleveland Indians 171
