Ducks' Dontrelle Willis signed by Angels

Ducks pitcher Dontrelle Willis has been signed by the Los Angeles Angels, the Ducks announced Sunday.
Willis will report to Triple-A Salt Lake, Newsday's Ian Cutler has learned.
In 14 starts, Willis led the Atlantic League with a 2.56 ERA. He went 5-4 and recorded 52 strikeouts in 87 2/3 innings.
In nine MLB seasons, with the Florida Marlins, Detroit Tigers, Arizona Diamondbacks and Cincinnati Reds, Willis has a 4.17 career ERA and 896 career strikeouts.
