Francisco Rodriguez has been traded from the Milwaukee Brewers to the Baltimore Orioles. In exchange, the Brewers will receive minor-league infielder Nick Delmonico.

Rodriguez's role with the Brewers has changed throughout the season, but he took over the closer's role after Jim Henderson struggled and battled an injury. The Orioles already have the MLB saves leader in Jim Johnson, so Rodriguez isn't likely to collect many more saves.

Rodriguez, the former Mets closer, has 10 saves on the year with the Brewers. He has zero blown saves this season.

Delmonico (.244/.351/.471) has 13 home runs and 30 RBIs in 60 games with the Class-A Frederick Keys.
