The entire draft class of the New York Giants visited the field before Wednesday's Mets game, including first-round pick David Wilson, the running back from Virginia Tech who is friendly with Virginia native David Wright.
Wilson hammed it up while throwing out the ceremonial first pitch. After doing a backflip and going through an elaborate pre-pitch routine, he fired one short and wide of Wright, who was catching. It went to the backstop and bounced back to Wright.
