Broxton not closing
Dodgers manager Joe Torre is removing Jonathan Broxton from the closer's role. The move comes after Broxton did not record an out while giving up four runs, including three earned, as the Dodgers blew a late 9-2 lead in a 10-9 loss to the Phillies on Thursday night.
Torre says Hong-Chih Kuo, Octavio Dotel and Kenley Jensen will share the role. He says Kuo normally will be the first choice but was not available for Friday night's game against the Braves.
