The White Sox beat the Rays, 4-3, tempers flared as batters got plunked and pitchers got ejected and Alejandro De Aza had to leave the game after getting hit in the knee with a ball while diving into second base.

Blah, blah, blah.

The real story of this game is White Sox broadcaster Ken "Hawk" Harrelson going absolutely insane after Chicago starter Jose Quintana was ejected after just 3 2/3 innings for throwing a pitch behind Ben Zobrist.

It all started when White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski spiked Zobrist on a hard, late slide into second base in the second inning of Tuesday night's game. on Wednesday, Rays starter Alex Cobb appeared to retaliate by hitting Pierzynski with a pitch in the third. Pierzynski was awarded first base, but neither bench was warned. Then Quintana threw behind Zobrist in the fourth, immediately earning an ejection from home-plate umpire Mark Wegner. White Sox manager Robin Ventura, who came out to argue, was also ejected.

But let's watch the controversial moment through Hawk's eyes:
