BOSTON — Ivan Nova, who was 1-4 with a 7.28 ERA after the All-Star break before going on the DL Aug. 23, returns to the rotation Saturday. “In watching him throw the last couple of times, he seems to be throwing the ball better than when he went on the DL, so that’s a positive,” Larry Rothschild said. “We’ll see.”
