WASHINGTON — Johan Santana threw a bullpen session Tuesday at Nationals Park and said all is well after his 134-pitch no-hitter on Friday night.
“Everything was fine,” said Santana, who will start Friday night against the Yankees on a week’s rest. “Threw my bullpen like just another one. Nothing different. I feel good. We’ll be ready for Friday ... I know my body very well, so I know if something’s not right.”
Santana received a call from New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg Tuesday. He said he has not yet decided which items to donate to the Hall of Fame.
