Adam Jones hit a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the 12th inning as the Orioles won their eighth straight extra-inning game, beating the Phillies, 6-4, Saturday and spoiling B.J. Rosenberg's big-league debut.

Jones ended a season-worst 0-for-18 slump with a single in the ninth, then launched a drive over the outstretched glove of centerfielder Shane Victorino.

Chris Davis drew a leadoff walk in the 12th from Rosenberg (0-1) and Jones followed with his 17th homer, and the second game-ending drive of his career.

Nationals 4, Red Sox 2: Gio Gonzalez (8-2) pitched 6 1/3 effective innings, Adam LaRoche hit a solo homer and visiting Washington spoiled Daisuke Matsuzaka's return from reconstructive elbow surgery. Matsuzaka (0-1), making his first major-league start since Tommy John surgery last June 10, gave up four runs and five hits in five innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Braves 5, Blue Jays 2: Tommy Hanson went eight innings to shut down another AL East team, Dan Uggla hit a three-run homer and host Atlanta won for a season-best sixth straight time. Hanson (7-4) improved to 6-0 in six career starts against teams from the AL East.

Rays 13, Marlins 4: Ben Zobrist homered twice and drove in four runs to lead visiting Tampa Bay to its third consecutive win.

Cardinals 2, Indians 0: Kyle Lohse allowed three hits in 72/3 innings to outpitch Justin Masterson, and Carlos Beltran hit his National League-leading 17th homer for host St. Louis.

Tigers 3, Reds 2: Prince Fielder homered and drove in the go-ahead run in the eighth inning to lift visiting Detroit.

White Sox 10, Astros 1: Chris Sale (8-2) pitched eight shutout innings and Adam Dunn hit his 19th homer, a grand slam, for host Chicago.

Giants 5, Rangers 2:Ryan Vogelsong pitched 7 2/3 innings to win his fifth straight decision for host San Francisco.

Angels 11, Rockies 5: Albert Pujols homered and had four RBIs as the Angels withstood five home runs by the host Rockies -- two by Tyler Colvin.

Dodgers 8, Mariners 3: Jerry Hairston Jr. had a career-best five RBIs and Clayton Kershaw struck out a season-high 12 as visiting Los Angeles rebounded from Friday's no-hit loss.

Twins 11, Cubs 3: Trevor Plouffe homered and had four RBIs for host Minnesota. Alfonso Soriano hit a two-run homer for the Cubs, his 12th long ball in the past 24 games.

Pirates 5, Royals 3: Host Pittsburgh has won three straight and is 11-3 since May 25, the best record in the major leagues in that span.

Padres 5, Brewers 2:Ross Ohlendorf, signed Monday, pitched 41/3 innings of one-run ball in relief to earn the win for visiting San Diego. -- AP
