Judge: Roger Clemens must give emails

A federal judge ruled yesterday that Roger Clemens has to give his former trainer Brian McNamee emails between his agent and publicist from around the time the Mitchell Report published McNamee's assertion that he injected Clemens with performance-enhancing drugs.
Earlier this month, Clemens asked the judge presiding over McNamee's defamation suit to allow him to hold on to those emails while his appeal is heard by another court, but U.S. District Judge Sterling Johnson denied the motion and admonished Clemens for stalling the case. Clemens and McNamee are scheduled to appear in federal court in Brooklyn this morning.
