PHILADELPHIA — Justin Turner said he is “fine” after getting hit in the batting helmet by Jonathan Papelbon’s fastball in the ninth inning of the Mets’ 3-2 loss to the Phillies yesterday.
Turner, who was removed for a pinch runner, said, “I’m OK ... The one that hit me in the elbow hurt more than that, about a week ago.”
