CINCINNATI - Terry Collins was a bit stunned by Melky Cabrera’s 50-game suspension for testing positive for testosterone. Collins got to see Cabrera during the Mets’ 11-game West Coast swing.
“Well, I’m surprised, especially with the way testing is today,” Collins said. “I feel bad for Boch [Giants manager Bruce Bochy]. They are having a great year and he’s obviously having a super, super year. But I’m very, very surprised.”
