The Mets' game against the Rockies scheduled for Monday at Coors Field in Colorado has been postponed because of snow.
The teams will square off in a split doubleheader Tuesday to begin their four-game series. The first game will start at 3:10 p.m., and the second game will start at 8:40 p.m.
The Mets arrived in Denver following their snow-shortened series with the Minnesota Twins. The Mets took the first two games in what was scheduled to be a three-game set, but Sunday's game was postponed because of snow. That game has been rescheduled for Aug. 19 at 1:10 p.m. as the Mets make their way back east after a West Coast road trip. It will be the Mets' 11th road game in as many days.
