Another start for Takahashi

Hisanori Takahashi (7-4, 4.69)  faces Hiroki Kuroda (7-8, 3.74) as the Mets start a four-game series tonight in Los Angeles against the Dodgers.  Is this Takahashi's last start before heading back to the bullpen?  

With the Mets sinking in the standings, perhaps not. If there is another fifth starter in the works, the Mets have about a week to get on it with the non-waivers trading deadline July 31.

In April, Takahashi faced the Dodgers in relief and struck out five in 3 1/3 innings. Kuroda has a 7.71 ERA in four career starts against the Mets.
