The Chicago vs. Chicago showdown

On the most basic level, this is a commercial for a company that makes hats.
But it's up to smart marketeers and ad men to create a compelling story arc for an advertisement about said hats.
This latest commercial for New Era baseball caps features comedian/actors Nick Offerman ("Parks & Recreation") and Craig Robinson ("The Office) as Chicagoans. It's the classic "What would you give up to get what you want?" game that people love to play in bars.
Offerman, pictured above, is hilarious with his dead-pan approach in playing a Chicago Cubs fan who would give up just about anything for his team to win its first World Series since 1908. Robinson grew up in Chicago and used to attend White Sox games at the old Comiskey Park.
