Time for our latest OBP poll results, which asked this question: Which player has the best chance to win the Triple Crown?

The results are far from scientific, and this time somewhat confounding. Matt Kemp, the Dodger who came within 13 points of winning the triple crown in 2011, finished third in this reader poll.

First, Kemp's numbers from 2011, followed by the OBP reader poll results.

Matt Kemp in 2011

Average: .324, third best in NL behind Jose Reyes (.337 in 65 less at-bats) and Ryan Braun (.332 in 39 less at-bats)

Home runs: 39, led NL by six over Prince Fielder.

RBIs: 126, led NL by six over Fielder.

OBP reader poll results

32% - Albert Pujols (Angels)

24% - Miguel Cabrera (Tigers)

17% - Matt Kemp (Dodgers)

13% - Someone else

8% - Ryan Braun (Brewers)

5% - Josh Hamilton (Rangers)

Hmm, with Pujols and Fielder now in the American League, Kemp has an even better chance to do something no baseball player has done since Carl Yastrzemski won the AL triple crown in 1967. Joe Medwick in 1937 was the last NL player to do it.
