What to make of this news from Mets land today?

R.A. Dickey will be an elf on Tuesday at the Mets' annual kids holiday party on Tuesday at Citi Field. This year's party treats 100 school children from Far Rockaway's P.S. 43 and Scholars’ Academy  to lunch, presents and a visit from Santa. Both schools were hit hard by Superstorm Sandy and had students displaced.

Dickey will be joined in elf gear by Ike Davis, as former Mets closer John Franco returns as Santa Claus.

So, Mets, do you think Dickey, the reigning National League Cy Young Award winner, would agree to be an elf if he was going to be traded in the coming days?
