Rays come back in ninth
Sean Rodriguez hit a go-ahead, three-run double in a ninth inning that featured two ejections and the Tampa Bay rallied to beat host Toronto, 7-6, last night.
The Blue Jays led 5-3 to begin the inning. With runners on the corners and one out, Carlos Peña struck out looking after he was denied a timeout by plate umpire Angel Hernandez. Rays manager Joe Maddon came out to argue and was ejected by Hernandez.
Kevin Gregg (0-2) later gave up a bases-loaded walk to Ben Zobrist to make it 5-4, then Rodriguez's three-run double to center. Gregg was lifted, then ejected by Hernandez for arguing as he walked off the mound.

Victor Martinez had five hits, including a career-high four doubles, and host Boston rallied from a four-run deficit.
Indians 3, Tigers 2
Russell Branyan and Shin-Soo Choo homered in Detroit. The Tigers dealt Dontrelle Willis and cash to Arizona for righthander Billy Buckner.

David DeJesus hit a two-run triple and Jose Guillen homered for host Kansas City.

Ian Kinsler had two hits and drove in three runs in Chicago.

Troy Glaus hit a three-run homer and Tim Hudson (6-1) pitched six innings around a rain delay for host Atlanta.

Jorge Cantu hit a go-ahead double in the seventh as host Florida became the latest team to rough up Trevor Hoffman.

Scott Rolen homered twice in St. Louis.

Neil Walker hit his first big-league home run to put host Pittsburgh ahead in the eighth.
