Under the leadership of "Chicago Norm" Cohen, for those of you who read "The Final Score" blog when it existed, we put together a rather impressive spring-training preview, if I don't say so myself.

Erik Boland and David Lennon did the bulk of the work, and you can see their contributions on the linked page. Alas, since we live in a me-first society, I'll link to my couple of columns: A take on why spring training is especially welcome to New York baseball fans this year, and a spring-training question for each of the 30 teams.

Weather permitting, I'm flying to Tampa tonight and will post my first Grapefruit League blog post of 2011 tomorrow morning. I'll be down there for 14 days and currently have plans to spend time with six teams (you can probably guess which) and will adjust the schedule as the news requires.

Very much looking forward to it.

--In the meantime, here's a highly entertaining "Joe Maddon Choose Your Own Adventure." Warning: It's pretty wacky in spots. Thanks to Dave Cameron for alerting me to this, on Twitter.

--Have a great day.
