Robinson broke the MLB color barrier in 1947 as a second baseman for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was also the first black MVP, winning the award in 1949, and the first African-American Hall of Famer, inducted in 1962. His number is now retired throughout Major League Baseball.

On Monday, Warner Bros. released a second trailer for "42," the movie that depicts the story of Jackie Robinson.

The movie is set to appear in theaters on April 12, 2013, and starts Chadwick Boseman as Robinson and Harrison Ford as Branch Rickey, the Brooklyn Dodgers general manager who led the way in breaking baseball's color barrier in 1947.
