65 age of Bill Lee, who threw a 94-pitch, complete-game victory for the San Rafael Pacifics of the independent North American League. Lee reportedly became the oldest pitcher to win a pro game — and probably still the craziest.

35 games missed by David Ortiz, who returned Friday from a strained Achilles tendon. The Red Sox went 13-22 without their good-natured DH, one of the few current players Boston fans actually like.

9 triples for Angel Pagan, who happens to be tied with Jose Reyes for fourth in the NL, only two behind leader Dexter Fowler. Pagan also was batting .450 (18-for-40) in nine games since Melky Cabrera was suspended.

6 games suspended for the Twins’ Scott Diamond, who was penalized for not hitting Josh Hamilton, just throwing a pitch that went behind his head. No idea what the punishment is for merely thinking of doing it.

1 as in first career victory for Bronx-born Tony DeFrancesco, the Astros’ interim manager, who won Friday and was showered with champagne afterward. Then again, beating the Mets is not much of an accomplishment these days.
