Tigers no longer like Brandon Inge a lot

The Tigers released 12-year veteran Brandon Inge after Thursday afternoon's game. In those 12 seasons, all for Detroit, Inge played every position except first base and shortstop.
His career numbers are somewhat forgettable -- .234 average, 140 home runs, .304 OBP.
Here's a terrific stat put forth by the Detroit Free Press' Michael Rosenberg:
In 2011, Inge had a .197 batting average, .265 on-base percentage and a .283 slugging percentage. By comparison in 2011, batters went .192/.242/.313 against Tigers ace Justin Verlander.
But here in New York, Brandon Inge's legacy lingers. Yes, this clip is from 2008, but it's still funny and is still brought up on occasion.
