Chase Utley and Philadelphia fans were eager for the All-Star second baseman to finally get in the lineup for the first time this season Monday night, and though he went 0-for-5 and was the only Phillies starter to not get a hit, his teammates clubbed the Cincinnati Reds, 10-3, at Citizens Bank Park.

Jimmy Rollins, Placido Polanco and Raul Ibañez homered to back Cole Hamels (6-2), who allowed three runs and five hits in six innings.

A sellout crowd of 45,841 -- the largest in the regular season in the eight-year history of Citizens Bank Park -- gave Utley a standing ovation when he came up in the first. He flied out to centerfield.

"I put in a lot of hard work to get to this point," said Utley, who missed the first 46 games this season. "I'm just happy to be out there."

Reds starter Bronson Arroyo (3-5) allowed nine runs and 10 hits in 22/3 innings. The Reds have lost six in a row.

The Phillies scored the most runs they had since beating the Mets, 10-3, on April 29.

The Reds sent former All-Star righthander Edinson Volquez (3-2, 6.35 ERA in 10 starts) to Triple-A Louisville.

Hamilton, Cruz homer

Josh Hamilton, also returning from the DL, homered in his first at-bat back with the host Texas Rangers in a 4-0 victory over the White Sox. Teammate Nelson Cruz, also coming off the DL, hit a two-run homer in the sixth. Alexi Ogando (5-0) pitched a five-hit shutout.

Indians 3, Red Sox 2: Michael Brantley tied the game with an RBI single and Asdrubal Cabrera followed with the winning double off Daniel Bard (1-4) in the eighth inning in Cleveland. Carl Crawford hit his second homer for Boston but hit into a double play with men on first and third to end the game.

Tigers 6, Rays 3: Victor Martinez hit a two-run double and Jhonny Peralta a two-run single in the eighth inning in Detroit. Tigers starter Phil Coke hobbled off when he injured his ankle trying to field a bunt in the fourth.

Mariners 8, Twins 7: Carlos Peguero tied it with an RBI single in the ninth and Luis Rodriguez won it with a sacrifice fly in the 10th in Minneapolis.

Astros 4, Dodgers 3: Michael Bourn tied it with a two-run double and Hunter Pence singled him home in the ninth for host Houston.

Brewers 11, Nationals 3: Corey Hart hit his first three home runs this season and drove in seven to tie both club records for host Milwaukee.
