World Series tickets resold Monday went for a slightly lower average price than for the month of October as a whole for the four scheduled games in Kansas City -- but for a higher average price

for the three games in New York, according to data compiled by TicketNetwork.com

Game 5 at Citi Field was going for more than triple the price of Game 2 in Kansas City.

The averages for sales completed Monday only:

Game 1: $544.34

Game 2: $504.90

Game 3: $1,033.93

Game 4: $1,192.83

Game 5: $1,645.43

Game 6: $878.87

Game 7: $873
