Joe Girardi's reaction to the blown umpire's call that denied Tigers pitcher Armando Galarraga a perfect game last night?

Overturn it!

The Yankees manager made the stunning statement after last night's Yankees win over the Orioles. He said he hadn't seen the play yet but said he thought MLB should find a way to retroactively change the call at first base by Jim Joyce and award the perfect game to Galarraga.

"It's unfortunate because Jimmy Joyce is a very good umpire," he said. "I think it's something baseball should look at possibly because if they do change it it doesn't affect the game. It doesn't affect the outcome."

Girardi finished with: "I don't want to open up a can of worms, but . . . "
