The Yankees avoided arbitration with Boone Logan, signing the lefthanded reliever Friday to a one-year, $3.15-million deal. Logan, 28, posted a 3.74 ERA in a league-high 80 appearances last season.
He has emerged as a stalwart in the bullpen in his three seasons since landing with the Yankees as part of the Javier Vazquez trade.
Next season, Logan will be eligible for free agency for the first time in his career.
Reliever David Robertson is the Yankees' final arbitration-eligible player.
