Yangervis Solarte seemingly can do no wrong.

The Yankees' rookie helped lift CC Sabathia out of a jam in the second inning on Thursday against the Rays. With runners on first and second, Tampa Bay first baseman Sean Rodriguez grounded to third and in one fluid motion, Solarte fielded and stepped on the bag at third to start the 5-4-3 triple play. Solarte flipped to second to Roberts before Wil Myers got there and Roberts fired a bouncing throw to Scott Sizemore, who smoothly picked the throw from Roberts ahead of Rodriguez.

Sizemore was making his first career start at first.

The last time the Yankees turned a triple play was last April. Sabathia was the beneficiary of that one as well.
