Colon throws against Pirates tonight

If he keeps throwing well, Bartolo Colon could make the team as a relief pitcher or insurance for another starter.  But he's not yet a lock. 

Eric Chavez, a good bet to make the team, gets a start at third as A-Rod becomes the designated hitter.  

Catcher Russell Martin could use a couple of hits--not that rookie Jesus Montero is lighting up the yard.
