Girardi unmoved by Cubs hiring

Joe Girardi did not have much of a reaction to the Cubs naming Mike Quade their manager.

Girardi had been mentioned as a potential candidate when Lou Piniella retired.

"Congrats to Mike," Girardi said today at his pre-game press conference . ``I wasn't thinking about it anyway, so I had not really been asked since our time in Chicago.... As I said all along, I'm focused on what we are trying to do here.''
