Yankees outfielder Jasson Dominguez left Wednesday's game against the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field with a left elbow contusion, the team announced.

Dominguez was hit by a pitch from Rangers starter Nathan Eovaldi in the top of the fourth inning. He stayed in the game after getting looked at by the Yankees' trainer but was replaced by Max Schuemann in leftfield to start the bottom of the inning.

X-rays were done at the stadium, and further imaging will be done in New York, the team said.

The Yankees called up Dominguez on Monday after placing Giancarlo Stanton on the injured list with a low-grade right calf strain. He was 1-for-8 with a single and two strikeouts in two games before suffering the injury.
