Jeter ranked at the top of 2010 jersey sales

Despite coming off the worst year of his career, Derek Jeter is still as popular as ever. Jeter’s No. 2 was the top selling jersey, according to Major League Baseball and the Major League Baseball Players Association. The numbers were based on sales of Majestic jersey’s during 2010.
Teammate Alex Rodriguez came in at No. 9 while first basemen Mark Teixeira came in at No. 11. The Phillies were well represented with four players making the list including Cliff Lee, who played for the Seattle Mariners and Texas Rangers in 2010. All his jersey sales from the 3 teams were included.
Of the top 20, 16 were All-Stars in 2010 and 15 played on teams that reached the postseason. Here is the complete list:
