Matt Garza headed for Cubs?
Tampa Bay could be on the verge of losing another quality player. Starting pitcher Matt Garza could be traded to the Chicago Cubs for four prospects, the Daily Herald of Arlington Heights, Ill., and ESPNChicago.com are reporting.
Garza was 15-10 with a 3.91 ERA last season for the Rays, who won the American League East over the Yankees. Tampa Bay already has lost Carl Crawford, Carlos Pena, Rafael Soriano and Jason Bartlett.
Garza would become Chicago's ace ahead of Ryan Dempster, Randy Wells, Carlos Zambrano and Tom Gorzelanny.
