Pettitte deserved better
Andy Pettitte was largely ignored because of his mound opponent in Game 3, but he has been the Yankees' best starter in this postseason--and most others during his career.
His lifetime numbers in October: 19-10, 3.83 earned run average, 173 strikeouts in 263 innings.
How many of you who watched last night's game thought it was over when Josh Hamilton hit a two-run homer in the first inning?
Right. Probably the Yankees bench, too.
