Report: Yanks show interest in Duchscherer
Free agent Justin Duchscherer may be in the Yankees' plans, espnnewyork. com reports.
Duchscherer, 33, was an All-Star in 2008 for the Oakland A's when he went 10-8 with a 2.54 ERA. He missed 2009 after elbow surgery and, later in the season, a bout with clinical depression .
In 2010, the righthander had season-ending hip surgery on June 7. He is 33-25 with a 3.13 ERA in eight major league seasons.
Duchscherer was also an All-Star in 2005 as a reliever.
