Derek Jeter is the only baseball player among America's 10 favorite male sports stars, based on a Harris Poll of 2,227 adults surveyed online from June 14-21.

The Yankees shortstop ranked third, behind Tiger Woods and Kobe Bryant, who tied for first place after Woods had been alone at the top since 2006.

Jeter was fifth last year.

Four NFL quarterbacks made the remaining top 10 list: Brett Favre, Peyton Manning, LeBron James, Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Dale Earnhardt Jr.

James fell three places since last year, and that was before his July 8 "Decision.''

Harris said men still have Woods ranked alone at No. 1, but women have replaced him with Bryant in the wake of last year's sex scandal.
