Tino Martinez throws a strike

         Good pregame for the Yankees. Fine tribute to "Freddy Sez" Schuman, a fan, was a classy touch. Fellow fans chanted "Fred-dy!"

            Broadway and TV star Kristin Chenoweth did a soaring rendition of the national anthem, not only hitting the high notes but going above and beyond on the "of the free" stanza.
