Yes, that was former Yankee Travis Ishikawa sending the Giants to the World Series with his walk-off home run in Game 5 of the NLCS against the Cardinals.

Don't remember his time in pinstripes? You're likely not alone.

The Yankees acquired Ishikawa, now 31, off waivers from the Orioles on July 7, 2013, a move that corresponded with the club transferring Kevin Youkilis (who also had a less-than-memorable stint with the Yankees) to the 60-day disabled list.

Ishikawa, designated for assignment by the Orioles one week earlier, found himself in the Yankees' starting lineup in a July 8 game against the Royals after taking a red-eye flight from his Bay Area home the night before.

"I'm at a loss for words right now," the first baseman said before that game. "I'm just really excited to get out there."

When he did a few hours later, it was not notable; he went 0-for-2 with two strikeouts. He did not play again for the Yankees and was DFA'd on July 11. He signed with the White Sox five days later.

Ishikawa started this season with the Pirates before signing a minor-league deal with the Giants on April 25.
