Yankees outfield prospect Clint Frazier announced on Twitter on Thursday that he has been cleared to participate in spring training after a year-long battle with concussion symptoms.

Frazier, who could end up platooning with Brett Gardner in leftfield, posted that he was “dancing around my hotel room after this tweet.”

The original tweet read: “after a longggggggg battle with the concussion like symptoms i’m happy to tell u i’ve been cleared to participate in spring training and go after what i’ve wanted since being traded over here, to win an outfield job and show u guys what i can do. i’m readyyyyyyy.”

Frazier, 24, appeared in only 15 games for the Yankees last season after suffering a concussion in spring training. The effects lingered the entire season and into the offseason.
The Yankees acquired Frazier from the Indians on July 26, 2016, as part of a deal for Andrew Miller.
