Yanks turning away from Soriano?
Brian Cashman may be saying no to free agent Rafael Soriano as the eighth inning bridge to closer Mariano Rivera.
Signing Soriano, who played for Tampa Bay last season, would cost the Yankees a No. 1 draft pick as compensation and Cashman implied he isn’t about to do that.
``I will not lose our No. 1 draft pick,’’ he told the Journal News of Westchester on Friday. ``I would have for Cliff Lee, I won’t lose our No. 1 draft pick for anyone else.’’
