Kentucky five, Reeves Nelson highlight early entrants

Nelson was dismissed from UCLA in late 2011 for poor behavior, went to play overseas in Lithuania, then was kicked off that team shortly thereafter. In 2010-11, Nelson led the team in scoring (13.9 points) and rebounding (9.1).

The NBA released the complete list of early entrants for the 2012 NBA Draft today.
As announced in the weeks leading up to the draft, five Kentucky Wildcats, Austin Rivers, Fab Melo, Kendall Marshall and Perry Jones III were among the bigger names on the list.
Other late additions included Dominique Ferguson, who declared after FIU refused to grant him a release from his scholarship; Quincy Miller, the 6-9 freshman forward from Baylor; and Reeves Nelson, the former UCLA star who was kicked off the team, then kicked off a team in Lithuania shortly thereafter.
