76ers rally in fourth quarter to top Hawks
Lou Williams scored 17 points, and Andre Iguodala and Thaddeus Young each had 16 to lead the host 76ers to a 105-100 win over the Hawks Wednesday night.
Philadelphia was down 10 late in the third quarter before an 11-0 run early in the fourth fueled the comeback. Josh Smith had 33 points and 12 rebounds for the slumping Hawks, losers of 14 of their last 21.
The Sixers moved 21/2 games behind the Hawks for fifth place in the Eastern Conference. Philadelphia moved two games ahead of the seventh-place Knicks.
Grizzlies 90, Celtics 87: Marc Gasol scored 11 points and grabbed 11 rebounds, and Zach Randolph had 13 points to lead visiting Memphis. Paul Pierce missed an off-balance three-pointer that would have forced overtime. The Celtics (50-20) missed a chance to tie the Bulls for the best record in the East.
Heat 100, Pistons 94: Dwyane Wade scored 24 points and Chris Bosh added 23 to help visiting Miami rally. LeBron James had 19 points, eight rebounds and seven assists for Miami, which has won six of seven after a five-game losing streak.
The Heat trailed by 11 late in the third quarter before Mike Miller made a three-pointer in the final seconds. Miami then scored the first 15 points of the fourth to take an 88-81 lead.
Pacers 111, Bobcats 88: Danny Granger scored 33 points and Indiana created breathing room from one of its closest competitors for the Eastern Conference's final playoff spot. The Pacers moved three games ahead of host Charlotte.
Nets 98, Cavaliers 94: Kris Humphries grabbed a career-high 23 rebounds and made several big plays in overtime, leading the Nets to only their fifth road win. The Nets snapped a four-game losing streak and improved to 5-29 in road games.
