Are these really the NBA All-Star jerseys?

NBA All-Star player portraits have rolled out over the past few days. To the left, you see Carmelo Anthony, who was voted as a starting forward for the Eastern Conference.
The top half of the jersey looks like your standard All-Star gear. Way too flashy and a lot of blending. But at least we're used to it.
The shorts . . . yikes. The Basketball Jones' J.E. Skeets and Trey Kerby tweeted that the shorts are, in fact, part of the uniform. Skeets shares my horror. They don't look like part of a basketball jersey -- more like the type of shorts you pick up at Marshall's before you mow your lawn.
Thoughts?
