Edwin Ubiles is NBA D-League Rookie of the Year

The NBA D-League announced on Twitter today that Dakota Wizards guard and former Siena standout Edwin Ubiles was named Rookie of the Year.
Ubiles appeared in 41 games for Dakota, starting each game. He averaged 19.6 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.1 assists per game, shot 50.3 percent from the floor, and was named to the All-Star Game.
Dakota made the D-League playoffs, but was swept in the first round by the Bakersfield Jam. In two postseason games, Ubiles averaged 11.5 points and 5.5 rebounds.
He also played in four games for the Washington Wizards, averaging 3.5 points in 13.0 minutes.
At Siena, Ubiles finished third on Siena's all-time scoring list with 1,939 career points, and sixth in scoring average (14.8 points pe game.)
