Less than a week after cracking Time's "Most Influential People" list, Jeremy Lin was named by Forbes as one of the country's 10 most influential athletes.

Lin, the lone NBA player on the list, was ranked 10th.

Two NBA players dropped out of the top 10 from last year; LeBron James, and Shaquille O'Neal, who was ineligible for the list because he retired.
